Earth’s shadow causes March 3 “blood moon” lunar eclipse

A rare total lunar eclipse, known as a ‘Blood Moon’ due to its reddish hue, will occur on March 3, 2026. This celestial event happens when the Earth aligns between the Sun and Moon, casting its shadow. While India will experience the eclipse after moonrise, visibility will vary across cities.
